Key responsibilities & impact

Define Platform Architecture: Lead the design and evolution of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), establishing standards, integration patterns, and ensuring system interoperability.
Drive Modernization: Guide platform evolution, improving scalability, reducing technical debt, and shaping technology lifecycle and adoption.
Enable Engineering Teams: Provide technical leadership through reference architectures, reusable patterns, and architectural guardrails; mentor engineering teams.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Product Architects and collaborate across engineering and data teams to align platform and product outcomes.
Promote Adoption & Standardization: Drive consistent platform usage, influencing teams to adopt standardized solutions and reduce fragmentation.
Ensure Governance & Risk Alignment: Align platform architecture with security, compliance, and governance requirements; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Align with Enterprise Architecture: Ensure consistency with enterprise standards and represent the platform in architecture forums.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement.
15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations in similarly scaled organizations.
Strong understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends and their practical application.
Extensive experience in enterprise platform architecture / Strong expertise in modern data platforms.
Experience designing complex systems.
Experience with AI/ML platform enablement
Ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with governance tools like Unity Catalog, Collibra
Experienced providing technical leadership across teams, mentoring engineers and architects.
