About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a key contributor supporting Technology Business Management (TBM) Analytics, enabling greater transparency and optimization of IT cost, quality, and value
Partner across IT and Finance to design, maintain, and enhance TBM cost models, leveraging tools such as Apptio to deliver actionable insights that support data-driven decision making
Focus on cost model development, data integration, and system administration while also driving continuous improvement in data quality, allocation methodologies, and analytics capabilities
Play a critical role in helping leaders understand total cost of ownership, optimize IT services, and align financial outcomes with strategic technology priorities
Participate in occasional travel for stakeholder engagement, planning, or training sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or related fields; experience in technology-driven or consulting environments preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Strong knowledge of IT financial management practices, including budgeting, cost allocations, capital vs. operating expenses, and product-based funding models
Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM), Apptio, or CIO advisory work, with the ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights
Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL/data warehouse tools (e.g., SQL Server, SSMS, TOAD), and data analysis tools (Power BI, Python, VBA, or similar)
Experience integrating and transforming data across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., ERP platforms, ServiceNow, cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS)
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across IT and business functions without formal authority
Experience supporting data governance, data quality initiatives, and continuous improvement of analytics processes
Preferred certifications: ETBMA/RTBMA, ITIL/IT4IT, or data/analytics certifications (e.g., MCSE in Data Management & Analytics)
