About the role
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Research and analyze legal issues
- Conduct discovery and depositions
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients
- Negotiate settlements
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations
- Handle meaningful client matters and build strategies for case success
- Collaborate with senior counsel and represent clients in negotiations and courtroom proceedings with support
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in Colorado (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of family law experience
- Background in general civil litigation with trial experience
- Proven trial exposure and strong advocacy skills
- Strong communication, research, and client service skills
- Ability to provide strategic legal counsel to clients
