About the role

  • Address client requests, manage data and research analysis, and assist with various finance and accounting projects.
  • Draft financial reports, investor updates, and client communications ensuring clear and accurate information.
  • Develop and maintain simple, effective templates and retention systems for client organization and documentation.
  • Provide ad-hoc support in client meetings and contribute to the Sandbox Fun Committee.

Requirements

  • Expected May 2026 graduation date with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or similar Business related field.
  • Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles and knowledge of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analytical mindset with a high aptitude for math and ability to understand and analyze complex business data and build financial models.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfortability with software and tools like GSuite, Slack, QuickBooks, etc.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills on the fly and apply these unmastered/unrefined/not perfect skills for company executives, management, and other leaders.
  • Strong desire to earn your CPA and/or have a passion and interest in the venture capital and startup finance space!
