Administrative Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide general administrative support for day-to-day operations
- Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries
- Prepare correspondence, reports, statements, forms, applications, and other documents
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas and record minutes
- Maintain inventory of office supplies
- Assist with other related administrative tasks as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of high school diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- secretarial or administrative experience
- knowledge of Gitxsan laws and language is an asset
- ability to lift/move weights of up to 20 lbs. occasionally
- valid driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract required if limited travelling is required
- willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks
