About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop employer partnerships across Hunter and Lower Hunter regions
  • Identify workforce needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
  • Advocate for inclusive hiring and help employers understand and accommodate candidate needs
  • Match job-ready candidates through referrals, job carving and reverse marketing
  • Collaborate with Employment Consultants to align employer opportunities with caseload needs
  • Provide post-placement support for sustainable outcomes
  • Maintain labour market knowledge to identify emerging opportunities
  • Achieve performance targets and KPIs
  • Travel across multiple sites and meet local employers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Business development or B2B sales experience
  • Employment services experience, particularly in barrier management, reverse marketing or disability employment
  • Understanding of disability employment barriers and ability to communicate these sensitively and persuasively
  • Strong networking and stakeholder communication skills
  • Knowledge of local employers and labour market trends
  • Proven results in achieving KPIs
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites
  • Relevant qualifications in Employment Services, Community Services or related areas are desirable
  • Mandatory National Police Check / Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent required for child-facing roles
