💰 $82,200 - $113,100 per year

About the role

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development team execution
  • Collaborate with product manager to link business and technical strategy, ensuring alignment of development, release planning, and roadmap to overall product strategy.
  • Establish cadence for delivering value incrementally, considering dependencies and roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate with development teams on iterative improvements to team processes, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review and retrospectives.
  • Work cross-functionally with other product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver on Renaissance’s ecosystem value.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics to evaluate success and inform data-driven product decisions.
  • Perform essential acceptance testing in partnership with development teams and QA prior to release.
  • Communicate releases to broader business, in partnership with product manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related role in software/technology environment
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable product requirements
  • Experience in educational technology, data analytics, or intelligence/assessment platforms (preferred)
  • Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams on complex software products (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus (preferred)
