About the role
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development team execution
- Collaborate with product manager to link business and technical strategy, ensuring alignment of development, release planning, and roadmap to overall product strategy.
- Establish cadence for delivering value incrementally, considering dependencies and roadmap priorities.
- Collaborate with development teams on iterative improvements to team processes, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review and retrospectives.
- Work cross-functionally with other product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver on Renaissance’s ecosystem value.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics to evaluate success and inform data-driven product decisions.
- Perform essential acceptance testing in partnership with development teams and QA prior to release.
- Communicate releases to broader business, in partnership with product manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related role in software/technology environment
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable product requirements
- Experience in educational technology, data analytics, or intelligence/assessment platforms (preferred)
- Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams on complex software products (preferred)
- Knowledge of Spanish a plus (preferred)
