About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Retouch and run quality control on raw images and .jpg general product images to meet The RealReal’s visual standards
Batch color correct raw product images
Retouch JPG images to match visual standards for each item type
Composite images to scale
Evaluate the quality of product styling, color correction, and retouching completed in other workflows
Ensure all products in the pipeline, including exceptions, are addressed appropriately
Meet daily deadlines and goals
Assess and report issues as needed
Collaborate with the team
Participate in daily team check-ins to align on priorities
Communicate in real time with the support team as plans are actualized

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient understanding of Mac OS
Proficient understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud’s Bridge, Lightroom, and Photoshop
Product retouching portfolio featuring before/after examples
Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills
Self-reliance and a proactive work ethic
Keen attention to detail
Excellent color vision
Ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently and collaboratively within tight deadlines
Minimum of 1 year of relevant photo retouching experience (preferred requirement)
Proficiency in utilizing a Wacom tablet (preferred requirement)
