Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
  • Significant expertise in Ruby on Rails within a production environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and database schema design.
  • Mastery of modern debugging patterns and system observability.
  • Strong competency in frontend JavaScript (React/Next.js).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-system bottlenecks.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures.
  • Professional experience with functional programming (specifically Elixir) is preferred.
  • History of Open Source contributions or community involvement is preferred.
  • Deep technical expertise in Ruby and the Rails framework is preferred.
