• Write 7 “blurbs”, or aggregated content pieces, per day
• Refocus stories reported by other outlets for TRD’s audience, highlighting the issues most important to the industry and helping to make TRD the go-to news source for real estate professionals in the local market.
• File stories that are clean, comprehensible, and interesting
• Work closely with an editor to continue honing framing, writing, and journalistic skills, finding the “TRD voice”, and developing a strong news sense

Content Producer

Journalist

• Contribute three to five original articles per week to The Real Deal’s New York-focused political coverage (as well as occasional topics of national interest)
• Extensively source up on the intersection of real estate and politics/policy
• Report and write a longer story (1,000 to 2,000 words) to The Real Deal’s monthly, national print magazine multiple times per year
• Occasionally contribute or collaborate on special reporting projects, typically investigative work or deeply researched features

• Analyze subscriber behavior, conversion funnels and churn trends to identify opportunities for improvement
• Use data to diagnose friction points across the subscription experience
• Develop hypotheses, run experiments and measure results to inform product decisions
• Present insights and recommendations based on performance trends and experimentation results
• Analyze churn drivers and cancellation trends
• Identify behavioral patterns that signal retention risk
• Improve renewal, cancellation and account management flows
• Partner closely with Customer Service to translate recurring subscriber issues into product improvements
• Implement product and experience improvements that reduce avoidable churn
• Optimize paywall performance and subscription flows
• Identify friction points across acquisition and checkout
• Run structured experiments on pricing, packaging, messaging and offers

• Use data and experimentation to inform prioritization and roadmap recommendations
• Ensure subscription infrastructure supports a complex business model including individual and corporate subscriptions
• Work closely with Product and Development to scope and ship subscription improvements
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure alignment between product experience and acquisition campaigns
• Partner with Sales on corporate subscription workflows and upsell opportunities
• Work with Customer Service to identify systemic subscription issues and improve subscriber experience
• Coordinate with Editorial when subscription strategy impacts content access or positioning

Subscription Product Manager

• Contribute four to six original articles per week to The Real Deal’s regular coverage of the real estate industry, focused on South Florida, which includes Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties
• In most months, contribute a longer story (1,000 to 2,000 words) to The Real Deal’s monthly, national print magazine
• Occasionally contribute or collaborate on special reporting projects, typically investigative work or deeply researched features

• Manage and prioritize multiple calendars, ensuring all responsibilities scheduled appropriately
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and transfer logistics
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, manage inbox, invites, and approvals
• Coordinate with accountants, advisors, and professional service providers on matters such as tax documentation and financial coordination
• Liaise with external parties and oversee administrative matters, including tracking incoming and outgoing packages and gifts
• Maintain oversight of contracts and critical documentation, ensuring timely review, organization, and approval processes

• Audit existing TRD Data and website pages for usability and design inconsistencies
• Improve spacing, typography hierarchy and visual clarity
• Redesign key product landing pages and dashboard entry points
• Help simplify navigation and highlight product features more effectively
• Create Figma files that are organized and developer ready
• Establish basic design system guidelines including spacing rules, typography scale and component patterns
• Iterate based on feedback from product leadership
• Suggest UX improvements based on user behavior and engagement patterns
• Provide guidance on improving subscription conversion through layout and messaging clarity
