About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will work closely with the VP Tech Product & Portfolio and other leaders to structure, plan and successfully execute strategic technology initiatives
You will elicit, structure and design requirements for cross-functional tech projects and ensure their successful delivery
You will manage complex projects together with and on behalf of Product, Engineering and Operations stakeholders alongside involved Product Owners, ensuring alignment on shared goals, priorities and timelines
You will track project progress, identify risks early and initiate appropriate measures to ensure delivery
You will prepare management updates, steering committee materials and decision documents for the senior leadership team and actively support strategic decision-making
You will coordinate communication between internal teams and external partners to ensure transparency and efficient collaboration
You will support the Tech Product leadership team with operational priorities, strategic analyses and ad‑hoc topics of high relevance to the company
You will manage external technology and implementation partners, establish best practices in provider management and ensure high service quality
You will support contract negotiations with IT service providers and accompany these negotiations through to successful closure.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have at least five years of professional experience at a top-tier management consultancy or in-house project and portfolio management experience in a technology-driven environment
Alternatively, you bring solid experience in delivering technology-intensive projects in consumer or operations contexts—ideally in a scale-up
You have a strong ability to structure complex issues and translate them into concrete actions and project plans
You excel at stakeholder management and communicate confidently at all levels of the organization, including executive level
You work independently, pragmatically and with a strong focus on execution and results
You are comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment and maintain oversight even under high complexity
Ideally, you already have initial experience with technology, product or operations projects
You are proficient with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence or comparable systems
You have fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
