About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You work closely with stakeholders, understand their business challenges, and translate them into scalable analytical solutions
You develop and maintain reliable, scalable datasets and reporting tables using SQL and modern transformation tools like dbt
You design, build and optimize dashboards that enable data-driven decisions across the company
You analyze data, identify trends, opportunities and concrete recommendations for the business
You continuously define, implement and further develop KPIs, metrics and reporting standards
You ensure high data quality through testing, validation and structured analysis processes
You drive the advancement of our analytics landscape by continuously improving documentation, standards, reusable components and best practices
You take ownership of your areas of responsibility and, together with the team, strengthen our analytics capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have at least two years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering or a comparable role
You have strong SQL skills and enjoy working with data
You have practical experience with modern data transformation tools like dbt
You have experience building dashboards with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI
You understand data warehouse concepts and can translate business questions into scalable analytical solutions
You communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders
You work independently, take responsibility and approach challenges in a structured, solution-oriented way
You have very good English skills; German is a plus
You regularly collaborate with your team on-site at our Hamburg office
