About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You develop high-quality, scalable Flutter features — from concept to release
You take responsibility for our mobile architecture with a focus on scalability, performance and maintainability
You define and evolve coding standards, testing strategies, CI/CD processes and our review culture
You actively avoid technical debt and develop sustainable solutions
You work closely with Product, UX/UI, Commerce and Backend teams to deliver impactful releases
You contribute to technical standards beyond the app and promote cross-team collaboration
You ensure stability and performance in production and drive continuous improvements
You share your knowledge and actively raise the engineering level within the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have several years of experience developing production Flutter apps
You have strong knowledge of scalable mobile architecture and clean code
You have a passion for AI and use AI tools purposefully to optimize workflows, decision-making, and engineering productivity
You have experience with testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines and modern release processes
Experience integrating mobile apps with commerce backends (ideally Shopify APIs) is a plus
You are comfortable in fast-paced environments and enjoy building structures where none yet exist
You think entrepreneurially, take ownership and act with a long-term perspective
You actively participate in architectural decisions and help shape standards and collaboration
You use modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, etc.) consciously and responsibly to increase productivity and code quality
You value close collaboration, code reviews and continuous improvement in strong engineering teams
You have excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
