About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the delivery and ongoing development of the Premier League Kicks programme in line with agreed objectives and outcomes
  • Act as a key point of contact for football club charities, providing guidance, support and constructive challenge
  • Work closely with the Community Engagement Manager to oversee the Premier League Kicks Police Partnerships Fund, ensuring effective allocation of funding, value for money, and delivery of agreed outcomes
  • Support the implementation of evidence-led practice across the programme, using data, youth voice, insight and evaluation to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Premier League, club charities, police partners and other local organisations to support joined-up approaches to community safety and youth engagement
  • Monitor programme performance, including reviewing data, outputs and outcomes, ensuring alignment with funding requirements and programme standards through the programme quality assurance framework
  • Support funding processes, including application reviews, assessment and recommendations
  • Work with club charities to ensure high-quality, inclusive and impactful delivery that meets programme standards
  • Support the delivery of national events, workshops and network meetings associated with Premier League Kicks
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and health and safety standards across delivery
  • Identify and share best practice across the network, supporting continuous improvement and innovation
  • Contribute to wider Premier League Foundation priorities and cross-team initiatives as required and undertake any other duties commensurate with the role in furtherance of the Foundation’s objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience of working within sport for development, youth engagement, community safety or partnership-based programmes and experience of cross-sector partnership working such as statutory agencies including police or local authorities
  • Understanding of the challenges facing young people in underserved communities, including issues relating to anti-social behaviour and youth violence
  • Experience of supporting grant-funded programmes or projects including monitoring performance, analysing data and applying evidence to improve delivery
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and produce clear, concise reports for different audiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships across sectors
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and with partners.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Passion for using sport and physical activity to create positive social change, including community safety and outcomes for young people
