About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide the Receiving department with administrative support including computer file maintenance and general office duties.
- Help manage Purchase Order Confirmations, which include quantity changes, and adding/deleting items.
- Perform verification and reconciliation of accounts.
- Process and reconcile transactions of complex nature.
- Manages Vendor discrepancies, which include creating Purchase Orders.
- Manages/Solves team member discrepancies, which include creating Purchase Order and maintaining inventory integrity.
- Maintains appropriate files, reports, documentation and data.
- Ensure follow-up action as and when necessary.
- Support Receiving department with communications between Receiving, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounting and Vendors.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School education or equivalent required
- Minimum work experience of two to three years
- Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
- Repetitive use of hands and arms
- Eye strain from continual computer use
- Physical ability to lift 10 to 15 lbs
