About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products
  • Ensures the neat, orderly condition of the warehouse
  • Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders
  • From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart
  • Stock items appropriately by location and quantity
  • Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves
  • Check off merchandise as received
  • Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet
  • Assist in pulling parts during busy times
  • Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment
  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Understanding Map Locations
  • Sorting by alpha or numeric
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
  • Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
