Warehouse Associate
The Parts AuthorityWarehouse Associate responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing shipments at Parts Authority. Engaging in inventory management and maintaining safety regulations in a growing company.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
- Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
- Scan items into the warehouse management system
- Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
- Organizing the warehouse space.
- Preparing orders for shipment.
- Picking orders for shipment.
- Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
- Operating stock management tools: for example, powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
- Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
- Routine cleaning duties
- Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized
- Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
- Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
- Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Time management skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
- Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
- 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
- Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
