About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for scheduling the drivers routes and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries.
- Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/ distribute runs to drivers.
- Ensure that driver counts money collected and put delivery times on bills.
- Work with Parts Pullers to ensure the deliveries go out correctly.
- Work with drivers to make sure that they know the correct route.
- Work with customers over the phone to update them on the status of their orders.
- Properly assist drivers who have difficulty with routes or any other aspect of the job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
- Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
- Maintain and promote workplace safety.
- Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
