About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Running projects alongside overseeing day-to-day delivery of guidance and support to departments at senior level
  • Leading operational HR generalism on People projects
  • Ensuring policies, processes and practices are up to date and compliant
  • Seeking to improve inclusive working practices
  • Overarching management of hiring processes
  • Recruiting and staffing
  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Employee Relations management
  • Regularly reviewing and updating People and Inclusion policies
  • Maintaining accuracy of HR data on systems and databases
  • Reviewing monthly pay-related changes and liaising with Payroll team
  • Supporting on talent development initiatives
  • Co-leading Mental Health Champions group and coordinating employee engagement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in HR generalist and a breadth of employee lifecycle activities
  • Level 5 CIPD qualification
  • Excellent communication skills in person, in presentation/training environments, over the phone and video calls, by email, and in other written forms
  • Numerically literate and able to work practically and with consideration in payroll
  • Experience in confidently applying employment law and HR/ACAS best practice in practical employee relations cases
  • Able to draft a wide range of People activity documents including policies, procedures, forms, templates and guidance documents
  • Ability to collect, present and analyse People data and draft internal reports and learnings from surveys, databases, research, benchmarking, etc.
  • An interest in or experience in theatre and/or the arts world
