About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and edit promotional materials such as fliers, brochures, and postcards
  • Create digital artwork for social media and the web
  • Oversee creation of new employee materials such as business cards and office signs
  • Create event materials such as programs, name badges, and signage
  • Take photos for social media, the web and marketing materials
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Create wayfinding materials
  • Interact professionally with the communications team and other individuals throughout the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Student position; a visual communications student is preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to deliver on deadline
  • Demonstrated proficiency with type
  • Willingness to learn and grow in your craft
  • Completion of a typography course is desired
  • Knowledge of print production processes is desired
  • Interest in photography, videography or After Effects is a plus
  • Cover letter, resume and schedule of available work required
  • Applicants may be asked to provide three to five design work samples, including at least one demonstrating use of typography
  • Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check
  • A drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
