About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a subject matter expert for the university's Career Management platform and emerging technologies that support the Center's work.
- Manage and maintain platform access and accounts.
- Train core users on key features.
- Present on platform features at events.
- Identify new and emerging technologies, evaluate and onboard new systems, and provide recommendations to optimize existing technologies, workflows, and processes to enhance Career Success services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationship management, including contract negotiation, advocating for user experience enhancements, and ensuring quality constituent service.
- Liaise between students, staff, faculty, and employers on the Center's technology platforms, connecting constituents to career resources and working with academic and student service departments to increase awareness and utilization across the College.
- Collect platform data and collaborate with Career Success staff members for resource coverage.
- Work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to complete ad hoc website edits and create educational marketing collateral.
- Some weekend and evening work.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, business, or an appropriate discipline in the Arts and Sciences.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and train others how to use new technologies;
- Experience giving presentations in medium to large group settings;
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office suite including significant proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Ability to prioritize workload with an emphasis in being able to take initiative and work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
- One-year previous professional experience working in an office environment.
