About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reports to the IBC Research Protocol Consultant and assists in the oversight of regulated biosafety submissions.
  • Supports efficient and compliant Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) operations.
  • Provides guidance to principal investigators and research teams.
  • Assists in coordinating activities with ancillary review committees and college support staff.
  • Documents regulatory findings, committee discussions and actions under supervision.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Problem solving and customer service experience.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with research methods, IBC operations, regulations and policies governing the use of recombinant DNA, biohazards.
