About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reports to the IBC Research Protocol Consultant and assists in the oversight of regulated biosafety submissions.
Supports efficient and compliant Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) operations.
Provides guidance to principal investigators and research teams.
Assists in coordinating activities with ancillary review committees and college support staff.
Documents regulatory findings, committee discussions and actions under supervision.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Problem solving and customer service experience.
Knowledge and/or experience with research methods, IBC operations, regulations and policies governing the use of recombinant DNA, biohazards.
