About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reports to the IBC Research Protocol Consultant and assists in the oversight of regulated biosafety submissions.
- Supports efficient and compliant Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) operations.
- Provides guidance to principal investigators and research teams.
- Assists in coordinating activities with ancillary review committees and college support staff.
- Documents regulatory findings, committee discussions and actions under supervision.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Problem solving and customer service experience.
- Knowledge and/or experience with research methods, IBC operations, regulations and policies governing the use of recombinant DNA, biohazards.
