About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide operational assessments, efficiency studies, and observations of work flow to ensure the most effective utilization of resources within The James; including evaluation of the impact of new technology, office layouts, and new construction layouts on operations.
  • Provide support and technical advice to the continuous Improvement efforts of the The James, including participating in the development of educational services.
  • Facilitate process improvement teams in achieving improved operational performance.
  • Support development of tools and processes used in process improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, process improvement, business operations management, or related fields required.
  • Prefer a minimum of two years of experience in continuous improvement.
  • Health care experience preferred but not required.
  • Must possess good written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of databases, computer software, spreadsheets, and graphics needed.
  • Green Belt certification preferred.
