About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the development and execution of foundational marketing plans for select Student Life Departments.
- Coordinates marketing projects, timelines, and communication workflows.
- Partners with the design and creative team to prepare marketing materials and digital assets.
- Ensures alignment with Student Life and university branding and communication standards.
- Maintains project information in Basecamp and supporting updates to departmental calendars and websites.
- Manages shared marketing inboxes and routing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Provides administrative support for meetings, communications, and events.
- Supports special projects and Student Life initiatives as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple tasks.
- Comfort with digital communication platforms and project management tools.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Professional experience working in a generalized consultative marketing and communications role.
- Familiarity with Basecamp or other project management systems.
- Basic understanding of branding and digital marketing best practices.
