About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the overall function of the Health System Finance Department, by providing complex analysis of labor expense and the overall impact to the financial performance of the medical center.
- Leads data analysis and research projects related to labor expense to solve problems and provide actionable insights for organizational decision-making.
- Works collaboratively with other functional areas of the organization to identify and integrate data sources as needed to address organizational needs and priorities.
- Utilizes Workday Reporting to develop & maintain Financial Reporting that incorporates multiple data streams to assist in organization decisions.
- Assists in the submission of various surveys related to Healthcare operations, including but not limited to, FTEs, Salaries, Payor Mix, Patient Revenue, Admissions, Patient Days, and Discharges.
- Establishes professional working relationships with areas outside of Finance to assist with these datasets as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant accounting and analytics experience, including proficiency with Tableau and Workday Financials.
