About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Cultivates and executes business opportunities with funding partners, primarily the Ohio Department of Medicaid.
  • Serves as primary engagement point of contact to anticipate and clarify customer needs, define project scope, and apply GRC services.
  • Uses specialized knowledge to develop new processes to establish successful engagement.
  • Advises GRC leadership team regarding development opportunities and the cultivation of partner relationships.
  • Influences the development and implementation of plans to ensure alignment with the GRC’s and partner’s strategic goals.
  • Develops strong business rapport with partner liaisons to identify improvement opportunities and manage problem resolution.
  • Guides internal and external stakeholders to continually improve and strengthen business relationships to meet customer’s needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience required.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to work with others to establish comprehensive strategies with appropriate objectives, metrics and execution schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage individuals and groups.
  • Strong communication skills to drive successful interactions, presentations and communications.
  • Demonstrates judgment and discretion to make effective decisions and problem solve.
  • Prior experience in healthcare policy and/or program design.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
