Employee and Labor Relations Specialist
The Ohio State University, Main Campus. Supports the delivery of Employee & Labor Relations (ELR) services by providing support to both the ELR staff and triaging issues that come to the CoE.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the delivery of Employee & Labor Relations (ELR) services by providing support to both the ELR staff and triaging issues that come to the CoE.
- Processes specialized transactions such as public records requests and union dues authorizations.
- May liaise between team, university departments, and external agencies to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
- Additional responsibilities include transaction processing, and facilitation of scheduling process/ and/ being the point of contact for the scheduling of grievances and hearings for classified civil service and collective bargaining employees.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Prior experience not required; up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred
