About the role
- Conduct independent research in the areas of substance misuse, child wellbeing and safety in support of the Ohio START intervention.
- Develop new extramural proposals for research.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Train and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
- Supervise research assistants to help with data cleaning and coding.
- Present at conferences, symposiums, or annual meetings.
- Attend weekly research meetings.
- Seek additional financial support for research.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a data analyst.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics and spatial statistics, including experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, Tata, R).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Significant knowledge of and experience using Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS).
