About the role
- Engage in applied health services and population health research in a project-based, team setting
- Provide expertise and support for multiple survey and mixed methods projects
- Supervise a minimum of 2 staff
- Independently perform highly complex research tasks, train and review the work of staff, and lead highly complex research projects
- Assume organization-wide responsibility for a portfolio of similar projects and/or technical domain
- Contribute to the identification and securing of funding opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a related field of study is required
- Requires successful completion of a background check
- Additional Desired Qualifications: Experience leading teams in quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods research
- Demonstrated research independence such as peer-reviewed publications or leadership on funded research projects
- Experience working with health-related state agencies is preferred
- Advanced expertise with statistical programming, survey instrumentation, or qualitative study design and analysis is preferred
