About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supports and ensures the IOP team and clients function safely, effectively, and efficiently to promote the best quality and output standards
Provides validation in a warm, safe environment and keeps clients motivated to work through distress and eliminate neutralizing behaviors
Engages with clients through clinical interactions, interventions and development of skills
Works closely with direct manager and the treatment team to adhere to programming and operations
Engaging in communication and problem solving with all members of the treatment team
Specific focus on client scheduling needs and supporting the Behavioral Health Technicians team with treatment concerns
Maintains all written documentation such as progress notes, group therapy notes, for clients based on the current corporate designated caseload capacity
Oversees the psychotherapeutic intervention provided to a client during treatment for OCD and other mental health disorders
Plans, organizes, implements and runs lesson plans for group settings, treatment, coordination of treatment, individual psychotherapy with the facility's evidence-based protocol for clients of all ages
Proficient in utilizing de-escalation techniques, crisis planning, and management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Licensed Therapist Required: You must have an active license in CA to qualify for this position
Master's degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, Pd.D, Psy.D.
Experience and success working virtually
Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and completes job responsibilities independently
Multitask, problem-solve, interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
Physical demands of the job include sitting at a desk or table for extended periods, bending, lifting, and walking
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate Education
Ability to practice in multiple states
2+ years experience in mental health position
OCD and anxiety experience
Cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy experience
