About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports and ensures the IOP team and clients function safely, effectively, and efficiently to promote the best quality and output standards
  • Provides validation in a warm, safe environment and keeps clients motivated to work through distress and eliminate neutralizing behaviors
  • Engages with clients through clinical interactions, interventions and development of skills
  • Works closely with direct manager and the treatment team to adhere to programming and operations
  • Engaging in communication and problem solving with all members of the treatment team
  • Specific focus on client scheduling needs and supporting the Behavioral Health Technicians team with treatment concerns
  • Maintains all written documentation such as progress notes, group therapy notes, for clients based on the current corporate designated caseload capacity
  • Oversees the psychotherapeutic intervention provided to a client during treatment for OCD and other mental health disorders
  • Plans, organizes, implements and runs lesson plans for group settings, treatment, coordination of treatment, individual psychotherapy with the facility's evidence-based protocol for clients of all ages
  • Proficient in utilizing de-escalation techniques, crisis planning, and management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Licensed Therapist Required: You must have an active license in CA to qualify for this position
  • Master's degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, Pd.D, Psy.D.
  • Experience and success working virtually
  • Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and completes job responsibilities independently
  • Multitask, problem-solve, interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical demands of the job include sitting at a desk or table for extended periods, bending, lifting, and walking
  • Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate Education
  • Ability to practice in multiple states
  • 2+ years experience in mental health position
  • OCD and anxiety experience
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy experience
