About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You’ll join a large, supportive team of lawyers and paralegals who value collaboration, professional growth and high‑quality legal work.
- You’ll review and prepare fitness to practise cases, conduct advocacy before our practice committees, and handle High Court interim order extension applications across UK jurisdictions.
- You’ll also have opportunities to work on PSA and registrant appeals.
- Your expertise will directly shape the quality and robustness of our regulatory decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You’ll be an experienced UK‑qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a strong track record in professional regulation and advocacy.
- You’ll bring confidence in managing complex, high‑profile cases, alongside leadership experience and a commitment to developing others.
- You’ll combine excellent organisation with a person‑centred approach, high professional standards and a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Expertise – substantial regulatory experience and strong advocacy skills.
- Leadership – the ability to guide, support and develop colleagues.
- Professionalism – integrity, sound judgement and a commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
