About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You’ll join a large, supportive team of lawyers and paralegals who value collaboration, professional growth and high‑quality legal work.
You’ll review and prepare fitness to practise cases, conduct advocacy before our practice committees, and handle High Court interim order extension applications across UK jurisdictions.
You’ll also have opportunities to work on PSA and registrant appeals.
Your expertise will directly shape the quality and robustness of our regulatory decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You’ll be an experienced UK‑qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a strong track record in professional regulation and advocacy.
You’ll bring confidence in managing complex, high‑profile cases, alongside leadership experience and a commitment to developing others.
You’ll combine excellent organisation with a person‑centred approach, high professional standards and a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Expertise – substantial regulatory experience and strong advocacy skills.
Leadership – the ability to guide, support and develop colleagues.
Professionalism – integrity, sound judgement and a commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
