About the role
- Manage A/V elements for a wide range of events
- Collaborate with internal Project Managers to determine equipment specifications
- Draft room diagrams using CAD, Visio, or Vectorworks
- Coordinate design, construction, and installation of sets
- Confirm equipment and technical placements meet client needs
- Manage bid and contracting process with A/V vendors
- Manage A/V costs and seek out cost savings
- Report changes in pricing to Project Managers
- Interface with venue managers regarding A/V designs
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Create technical specification sheets based on project requirements
- Manage day-to-day needs for multiple ongoing projects
- Collect and review invoices from vendors
- Advance event details with performers
- Work on-site at events to oversee technical elements
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in managing audio/visual and scenic elements for events
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CAD programs, specifically Vectorworks and Microsoft Visio
