About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete Psychological Assessment screens;
- Perform advanced clinical services; including psychological assessment, diagnosis and/or intervention;
- Analyze and evaluate patient data and test or examination findings to diagnose nature and extent of mental disorder;
- Provide such other services as may be reasonably required by the Company, and as mutually agreed upon
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health assessment/triage and treatment is required.
- Experience using evidence-based trauma therapy, specifically EMDR or ART is an asset.
- Experience with individual, group, and family counselling is an asset.
- Doctoral degree (Ph. D.) in Psychology and registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario is required.
- Professional training certificates in EMDR and/or ART are significant assets.
- Contracts are conditional, subject to clear police background check, inclusive of vulnerable sector check.
