About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop a targeted outbound sales strategy to grow bookings.
  • Prospect and engage corporate clients, media organizations, nonprofits, and event agencies through outbound outreach and networking.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads with a focus on high-value events.
  • Pitch the venue's unique value including premium design, advanced production capabilities, and central Midtown location.
  • Conduct virtual presentations and occasional in-person site tours and client meetings.
  • Partner with our teams to ensure seamless execution from lead to confirmed booking.
  • Track outreach activity, pipeline progress, and revenue performance.
  • Demonstrate support and understanding of our value of journalistic independence and a strong commitment to our mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of sales experience in event venues, hospitality, media, or related industries.
  • Experience in outbound sales and new business development.
  • Experienced with remote sales at a part-time capacity.
