Childcare Curriculum Coordinator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Delivering proprietary curriculum in special classes during the week to each classroom
- Moving from classroom to classroom and working alongside our classroom teachers
- Serving as role models for the children and staff
- Ensuring quality not just in their weekly classes but throughout our programs
- Acting as an additional level of support to the teachers, children, and families
- Working with training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques
- Daily administrative tasks such as opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, coverage in the classroom, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR Degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate
- Teaching/Childcare: 3 years (Required)
- Health & Wellness Background/Knowledge (Preferred)
- Fine Arts & Music Background/Knowledge (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
