About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement conservation actions and programs at small to medium scales
  • Provide technical guidance on management, monitoring, and preservation activities
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of initiatives addressing threats to natural systems and species
  • Provide analyses and relevant information to support land-use and territorial planning processes
  • Integrate project activities, diagnose priorities, and monitor timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality

  • Participate in the implementation of conservation strategies, using tools and instruments applied to environmental and territorial management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing teams or volunteers
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships to work closely with diverse partners, such as media, government authorities, and internal scientists
  • Proven ability to complete tasks independently while meeting deadlines
  • Experience using administrative software applications, such as Word, Excel, and web browsers
  • Experience with PIQCTs and/or direct work with Indigenous peoples in the Amazon
  • Experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams
