About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage strategies related to urban heat and extreme precipitation within New Jersey’s Cities.
- Implement plans to increase the impact of our work in vulnerable communities.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives addressing urban heat and extreme precipitation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design integrated, place-based solutions.
- Oversee planning processes and guide project implementation to ensure measurable benefits for underserved communities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS and 5 years’ experience in conservation practice or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing complex or multiple projects and strategies, including managing budgets and coordinating the work of other professionals and partners.
- Experience negotiating complex agreements.
- Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, community groups and/or government agencies.
- Experience communicating with the public both in writing and verbally.
