About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive program to raise funds through gifts of real estate.
Plan for the cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects.
Manage negotiation and closing of outright and complex gifts funded with real estate assets of $100,000 or more.
Oversee and manage the entire real estate gift process from acceptance to sale.
Supervise the staff of the Real Estate Gifts program.
Discuss all types of real estate, including outright and deferred real estate gifts with expertise.
Conduct and supervise due diligence of complex outright and devise gifts of real estate.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Substantial real estate transaction experience and knowledge focused on acquisition and the eventual sale of properties received.
Legal knowledge related to real estate transactions.
Experience in conceiving, developing, and managing multiple projects and strategic goals.
Experience in planning and delivering budgetary responsibilities.
Experience managing and supervising a multidisciplinary team.
Experience working in a large, complex, not-for-profit environment.
Experience, coursework, or other training in principles, practices, and procedures in real estate.
