About the role

  • Provide specialized Finance/accounting-related services to the Europe Region reporting to Finance Manager
  • Provide a range of finance-related support to the Europe team
  • Responsible for expeditiously and courteously responding to, routing, or resolving inquiries and requests from internal and/or external customers
  • Receiving, organizing, and keying invoices from a variety of sources into the Accounts Payable system
  • Ensuring payments are made in accordance with an established budget and source, and preparing invoices for payment
  • Assisting with monthly and yearly accounting close
  • Closing out the reconciling items, analyzing and posting corrections
  • Assisting with AdHocs, reporting and analysis
  • Complete other duties assigned by Finance Manager or the DFO
  • Administer and maintain finance/accounting activities in confidentiality and in accordance with TNC policies and procedures and best practices in financial management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination
  • Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices and regulations
  • Experience using automated accounting systems
  • Experience with accounting/financial issues and analysis
  • Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems
  • Technical experience with spreadsheet programs, general ledger reports and financial management tools
  • Fluency in German and English
