About the role
- The eLearning Designer/Developer participates in all functions of technology applications development life cycle utilizing TNC’s basic project management discipline
- Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering materials and learning tools (e.g. traditional courses, online courseware, performance support, and documentation)
- Provide administrative support for the learning management system (LMS) and users, including creating and maintaining LMS content
- Apply sound Instructional Design Principles and deliver quality products based on internal processes and tools
- Collaborate daily with information technology and desktop automation tools, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams
- Conduct learning needs analysis, provide technical writing and develop online training using development tools and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field and 2 years’ progressive experience in an IT field or equivalent combination
- 2 years progressive experience in developing online and classroom learning plans
- Experience delivering in-person and/or live web training
- Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence and HTML/HTML5 a plus
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated
- Familiarity with learning data, including xAPI concepts and the use of tools such as PowerBI to create learning dashboards
- Totara/Moodle experience a plus
- Experience leveraging AI to support instructional design and learner experience
