About the role
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of conservation initiatives
- Oversee technical teams located across different regions
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes for results
- Draft requests for proposals to secure funding
- Make strategic decisions independently
- Undertake frequent domestic and/or international travel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, economics, environmental engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience
- Experience in fundraising
- Experience managing complex or multiple projects
- Experience supervising teams
- Experience developing partnerships with non-profit organizations and community groups
- Experience in complex negotiations
- Knowledge of key issues related to agriculture and conservation in the Cerrado
- Written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese
