About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the lead architect for large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
- Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles to be followed across engineering and technology teams
- Define and evolve PURE’s architecture, ensuring technology solutions align with business strategy and operational needs
- Partner with executives, business leaders, and technical stakeholders to frame challenges, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend optimal technical solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to developers, solution architects and team leads, elevating technical craftsmanship across the organization
- Guide technology investment decisions by evaluating platforms, frameworks, and vendor solutions against long-term strategic needs
- Stay ahead of emerging trends, ensuring PURE adopts innovative yet pragmatic and secure technologies that deliver business value
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Significant experience as an enterprise, solution, or chief architect in complex environments
- Deep technical expertise across cloud platforms, data systems, application architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, AI, DevOps, and security-first design
- Proven success designing and scaling mission-critical solutions and guiding teams through technology transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with P&C insurance or financial services is highly desirable but experience driving architectural excellence in other industries is equally valuable
