About the role
- Contribute to the development of our new medallion-style data architecture in Databricks
- Use dbt to help unify and standardize hundreds of regulatory data calls
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs
- Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data quality checks
- Help optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
- Share knowledge with team members and promote best practices in data modeling and analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of analytics engineering or similar experience, with a strong focus on SQL
- Proven track record of solving complex data challenges using advanced SQL techniques
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouses and big data technologies
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages used in data analysis
- Experience with dbt
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar big data platforms
- Understanding of semantic layer implementation and benefits
