About the role

  • Contribute to the development of our new medallion-style data architecture in Databricks
  • Use dbt to help unify and standardize hundreds of regulatory data calls
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs
  • Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data quality checks
  • Help optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
  • Share knowledge with team members and promote best practices in data modeling and analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of analytics engineering or similar experience, with a strong focus on SQL
  • Proven track record of solving complex data challenges using advanced SQL techniques
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses and big data technologies
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
  • Proficiency in Python or other programming languages used in data analysis
  • Experience with dbt
  • Familiarity with Databricks or similar big data platforms
  • Understanding of semantic layer implementation and benefits
