About the role

  • Overseeing the operational aspects of the department
  • Supporting the attainment of organizational objectives
  • Establishing and prioritizing achievable goals in alignment with departmental and organizational aims

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in their field/expertise, preferably at the state or national level
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/mentorship/coaching experience in non profit organizations
  • Strong facilitation/presentation skills, both in-person and remote
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Expert proficiency in data management systems and protocols
  • Understanding of financial management principles and practices, including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue generation
  • Ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations to ensure financial sustainability
  • A proven track record in ensuring and overseeing the department's financial health and sustainability
  • 1-3 years of experience utilizing emotional intelligence to develop and support teams/staff
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of organizers
  • Strong managerial skills, including delegation, decision-making, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with donors, partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of long-term and short term goals and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
