Sit on the Marketing team and coordinate the entire editorial process including topic development, creating content personally or through freelance writers, and tracking and reporting on the related KPIs for our websites, organic search strategy, weekly relationship email, and social media pages.
Create the content strategy and editorial schedule for both Fool Wealth and MFAM by defining relevant topics to prospects and the industry (retirement planning, financial planning, investment management, portfolio construction, asset allocation, ETFs, SMAs, financial planner/advisor professionals, etc.).
Write content yourself as well as source articles to freelancers; source, edit, organize, and publish content across multiple channels.
Create a monthly editorial calendar for website articles, weekly relationship emails and newsletters, and social media posts.
Own the publication process in Hubspot and apply SEO best practices (meta tags, header structure, optimized alt text for images).
Search for SEO terms worth covering that align with target audience interests and optimize for conversions.
Leverage expertise in managed investment and ETF spaces to research competitors and prospects and generate better content in various formats (text, audio, video, infographic).
Use Google Analytics and Hubspot CRM reporting tools to review KPIs driven by content and adjust tactics.
Work closely with the CMO to determine content opportunities; report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Collaborate with Legal and Compliance, Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Distribution, and Client Experience teams as needed.

Experience using CMS to input and publish content (Hubspot experience is big-time bonus points).
Excellent writing and editing skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Experience successfully managing an editorial calendar and strategy: owning content creation and performance and adjusting tactics to meet goals and budgets.
Comfort working with metrics, an ability to turn data into actionable programs, and an ability to optimize day-to-day performance.
Expert communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with speed and effectiveness.
Ability to use SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) to inform decision-making and help aid content strategy.
Knowledge of site publishing, site design, social media strategy, SEO.
Must have important qualitative skills such as building constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. Ability to portray key writer relationship characteristics such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution.
Experience using project management and distributed workforce communication tools (Hubspot, Jira, Slack, Zoom).
Interest in persuasive, direct-response marketing.
