About the role
- Assist in risk, accident and failure analysis by investigating causes, proposing preventive and corrective measures, and supporting statistical and legal work, including cost-related matters;
- Support studies of workplace safety conditions, facilities and equipment, focusing on risk control, pollution control, occupational hygiene, ergonomics, fire protection and sanitation;
- Review projects in collaboration with technical teams, recommending changes to eliminate or minimize risks of accidents and occupational illnesses;
- Plan and develop the implementation of techniques related to risk management and control;
- Propose occupational safety policies, programs, standards and regulations to standardize work methods and ensure compliance;
- Support the implementation of preventive measures in occupational safety, based on knowledge of the nature and severity of injuries resulting from workplace accidents, including occupational diseases;
- Advise, guide and coordinate meetings and working groups related to occupational safety and participate in committees and commissions;
Requirements
- Higher education degree with postgraduate specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering;
- Active CREA registration;
- Availability to work on-site at one of our units in the states of Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo;
- Proven experience in accident analysis, methodology and investigation;
- Experience managing proactive safety and occupational health indicators, as well as frequency and severity rates;
- Experience in project management;
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills;
- Valid Category B driver's license;
