About the role
- Provide in depth support for plant facilities mechanical or electrical systems to increase overall reliability
- Support operations and maintenance mining to improve equipment reliability by performing detailed engineering calculations
- Project management for maintenance activities
- Communicate maintenance and efficiency opportunities
- Support maintenance planners, tradespersons, and supervisors with technical expertise, project management, and management of change
- Plan and schedule maintenance projects
- Complete risk-based assessments, recommending remedial actions, and organizing third party inspections and work
- Partner with Capital to incorporate appropriate maintenance and reliability improvements for new equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, major in Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written
- Extremely organized
- Good interpersonal skills
- Cooperative, able to work with and lead cross-functional teams
- Word, Excel, Outlook, Maximo
- Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
