About the role
- Assist with mooring/unmooring of ships and barges
- Responsible for installing and monitoring tarpaulins/environmental protection devices on the ship's side
- Assist with load and material hoisting operations onto the vessel
- Assist with the movement of exhausts and environmental protection tarpaulins, and provide materials for replenishing the holds
- Position and replace curtains in the boxes (environmental protection)
- Perform visual inspections of equipment in operation
- Perform visual inspections of warehouses (infrastructure/product quality/box filling)
- Assist with the movement of mobile equipment (hoppers/cranes/trippers)
- Monitor the operation of the pier and terminal drainage system
- Monitor the operation of bag filters/cartridge filters
- Load trucks at silos and rail wagons (in the field or via the supervisory system)
- Clean floors, structures and equipment: Conveyor Belts (TC1 to TC20), Hoppers (1 and 2) and Cranes (1 and 2), Transfer Towers (TT1 to TT09), Scales and Loading Silos (01 to 07), Warehouses (1 and 2) and Boxes (1 to 22)
- Clean the floating water drainage tank at the pier
- Comply with the company's housekeeping program
- Responsible for cleaning and storing PPE
- Support basic corrective and preventive maintenance activities on equipment and installations
- Perform basic inspections on equipment and installations according to the maintenance plan
- Execute work orders from the weekly program prepared by PCM and corrective work orders as directed by your supervisor
- Carry out small routine and emergency maintenance such as roll changes and alignments, replacement of pneumatic components, spot cleaning and lubrication
- Complete work orders and inspection plans with details of the interventions
- Refuel boats' fuel tanks, cranes, and perform diesel refueling operations
- Perform activities/repairs/replacements on low-voltage electrical panels and electrical peripherals
- Participate in discussions to identify root causes of equipment and installation issues
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Completed technical training in electromechanics, electrical, mechanical, or related field
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word
- Basic knowledge of supervisory systems
