About the role

  • Identify and develop cyber security opportunities across Federal, State, and Local Government
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement teams
  • Lead and manage government procurement activities, including RFT, RFQ, and RFI responses
  • Write high-quality, compliant tender submissions that clearly articulate value, risk mitigation & outcomes
  • Partner closely with technical, delivery, and bid teams to shape winning government proposals
  • Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to contract award
  • Stay across government cyber security frameworks, policies, and evolving threat landscapes

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a security sales professional with an IT company or minimum 5 years experience as a sales professional
  • A passion for winning new accounts and growing business within our existing client base
  • Proven experience in B2G sales, ideally within cyber security, IT services, or technology consulting
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Government procurement and tender processes
  • Demonstrated ability to write and manage successful government tenders and proposals
  • Experience engaging with senior government stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen
  • A proactive, structured, and outcome-focused approach
