About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead cross-channel media strategy for complex, global B2B client accounts from program inception through completion
  • Partner with Client Services to steward and nurture client account health
  • Identify and incorporate new media strategies and tactics into current and future programs
  • Ensure deliverables align with strategies and highlight actionable insights for media plan improvement
  • Use industry tools and research to provide education and insights to clients and internal teams
  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance of media plans and handle client requests and questions
  • Cultivate media vendor relationships, draft and submit RFPs, evaluate proposals, and provide media points of view
  • Collaborate with Analytics on measurement plans connecting platform KPIs to business objectives
  • Ensure timely and accurate client billing and reconciliations
  • Monitor trends across marketing, consumer behaviour, and marketing technology
  • Lead media communications with cross-functional teams and clients as the primary media point of contact
  • Educate clients and internal teams on digital tactics including programmatic, partnerships, native, and content syndication
  • Present paid media strategies to diverse clients, including complex global B2B brands
  • Collaborate with TMP team members to develop comprehensive campaign strategies
  • Create relevant campaign target audiences using client insights and campaign briefs
  • Use campaign and platform analytics to determine ideal budgets across channels
  • Provide estimated performance projections based on media plan recommendations
  • Measure channel effectiveness against KPIs and desired business outcomes
  • Manage, train, and mentor Media Team planners
  • Develop training and education materials
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports and support their professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of experience in media, focused on digital planning, buying, execution, and optimization
  • Essential B2B marketing experience and strong understanding of the B2B media landscape, key media vendors, demand generation, and account-based marketing
  • Experience with standard media planning and buying processes, industry-relevant tools, and trends
  • Proficient understanding of paid search and paid social tactics
  • Solid knowledge of tracking, tagging, and trafficking tools including DoubleClick, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience running self-managed programmatic campaigns is a plus
  • Ability to multitask across multiple clients, programs, strategies, and team members
  • Demonstrated client interaction and communication skills, including managing requests and providing rationale when pushing back
  • Ability to synthesize data and results, identify trends and key findings, and fuel content strategies
  • Management experience of 1+ individuals
  • Ability to work effectively with various groups and organizational levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including editing others’ work and coaching presentations
